Finally the wait is over. Another few hours Tampa Bengali community will worship the new Durga pratima from Kumartuli. With first ever 3-day pujo by Soikot, potluck dinner on Friday, pujo/anjali by our favorite purohit Anirban, yummy bhog prepared by Alokda, 5 hours of non-stop performance by local talents and yummy catered dinner from Clay Oven on Sat followed by Bijoya/sindur-khela and catered delicious lunch with another 4 hours of musical dhamaka by Iman Chakraborty and Saptak Bhattacharjee on Sunday, plus arrangement of jhal-muri or dosha as evening snacks ... OMG this will be another spectacular and fun-filled week for Tampa bongs after Banga Sammelam.
